Press Operators / Assemblers to operate and maintain injection molding

machines to mold thermoplastic parts or products. Press Operators / Assemblers earn

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRESS OPERATOR / ASSEMBLER

As a Press Operator / Assembler, you mold thermoplastic parts or products using

injection molding machines. As you work, you ensure that machines are stocked with

needed materials and are well-maintained for safe operation. Through hot stamping,

sonic welding, pad printing, resistance welding, and silicone backfilling, you complete

your assigned tasks. Once products are made, you check for quality. You inspect, trim,

clean, and package products to customer specifications. You love working with your

hands and playing an important role in the manufacturing and assembly of medical

devices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination

 

Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required. Can you read, comprehend,

follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training

documents? Are you attentive to detail? Do you have strong problem-solving skills? Are

you able to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks? If so, you may be perfect for this

assembly position!

 

WORK SCHEDULE

We have the following shifts available for Press Operators / Assemblers:

  • 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm
  • 2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm
  • 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:30pm-7:00am
  • 4th shift: Friday and Saturday, 10:30pm-11:00am
  • 5th shift: Saturday and Sunday, 10:30am-11:00pm
