JunoPacific combines the full resources of facilities located in key medical device markets in Minneapolis/St. Paul and the Silicon Valley, focusing on medical molding and assembly. Services range from tooling, part design and prototyping to micro/close tolerance molding, single and true multi-shot injection molding, vertical molding, reel-to-reel, insert molding, complex tooling that includes Spin-stack and rotary platen, multi-component/multi-material product assembly, secondary operations and validated sterile packaging.

Essential Job Functions

  • Works with Tool Makers in building and maintaining plastic injection molds
  • Maintains a clean and organized working environment
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and housekeeping practices and company policies and procedures.
  • Sets up and operates conventional and special-purpose machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts and fits and assembles machined parts into complete units, applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machine-ability of materials and layout techniques.
  • Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
  • Measures and marks dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining
  • Accurately keeps records of repairs, changes, and maintenance of molds

Minimum Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience
  • Strong hands-on and mechanical aptitude
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Able to follow and understand written quality procedures and instructions
  • Ability to read prints
  • Knowledge and experience using hand tools (grinder, miller, bridge port, lathe)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Work and Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work overtime when necessary
