Position Summary
The CER Lead will be responsible for operating and tending injection molding machines, per prescribed work instructions, to mold thermoplastic parts or products. They are also responsible for quality checks, assembly, packaging, labeling, and moving of product.

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution of daily production plan
  • Enforcement of compliance to Operators Instructions
  • Daily cycle counts of undermolds
  • Enforcement of FIFO compliance for undermolds
  • Review and approval of samples submitted to QC
  • Lead the T1 cartbody start of shift meeting
  • Review and approval of end of shift press reports
  • Inspect, trim, clean, and package products to customer specifications
  • Ensures the machines are stocked with needed materials and are well-maintained and safe for operation
  • Ensures the quality of the products being produced 
  • Responsible for periodic checks on output
  • Complete assigned tasks through hot stamping, sonic welding, pad printing, resistance welding, and silicone back filling
  • Keeps a record of number of pieces made and cycle times
  • Responsible for prompt recognition of faulty equipment
  • Maintains a log of equipment maintenance performed
  • Responsible for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications/ Requirements

  • Knowledge of clean room environment procedures and regulations
  • Knowledge of machinery and equipment
  • Knowledge of 5S and operational excellence
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions
  • Knowledge of basic math concepts and skills 
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • High School Diploma

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to occasionally lift 10-50lbs
  • Ability to occasionally carry 10-50lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend and stoop
